JW Marriott to add 220 rooms in Santo Domingo

La Lopera victorious in Challenge Cup

Last Saturday March 14th, while the McDaniel Tennis Tournament was in full swing at La Terraza Tennis Club, and more than 120 golfers were at the La Romana Country Club Golf Course kicking off the 8th “Tour Claro” golf series, at the Casa de Campo Polo Fields the final of the Challenge Cup was played.

Latin Baseball Hall of Fame offers mass in memory of Orestes “Minnie” Miñoso

On Tuesday, March 10th, the Latin Baseball Hall of Fame offered a mass in memory of Orestes “Minnie” Miñoso, who was inducted in the class of 2010. The ceremony was held in the Santa Rosa de Lima church in the city of La Romana.
