This Friday March 20th, you are all cordially invited to enjoy the opening of an excellent photo exhibition named “Resiliencia” (Resilience).
This traveling collective exhibition will be on display at the “Museo de la Altagracia” (Museum of La Altagracia) in the city of Higuey located in the Eastern region of the Dominican Republic – just 33 minutes from Casa de Campo along the Autopista de Coral highway.
Photo exhibition “Resiliencia” (Resilience) is the work of 20 Dominican photographers, expressing their stance against Domestic Abuse, seeking to give a message of resistance or rather “Resiliencia” opposing the welfare of women.

The 20 featured photographers are: Alejandra Oliver, Angie Casals, Ariadna Canaan, Carmen Herrera Von Wrangell, Carmen Ines Bencosme, Decia Bodden, Dennise Morales Pou, Gabriella Ortega, Guadalupe Casasnovas Ileana Montero, Jiny Elena Ramos, Lali Marte, Margo, Mora, Mariajose Garcia, Marjorie Ariza, Mary Rosa Jimenez, Parmelia Matos, Silvia Pesquera, Valerie Le Moustre and Victoria Thomen.
With their photographs these women aim to provoke us to reflect and open our eyes to the daily mistreatment of women in Dominican society, something so common it often goes completely unnoticed.
