It’s that time of the week again – my chance to show off my awesome photos of Casa de Campo! This week’s photo was taken from the Dye Fore golf course – a beautiful view of the Chavón river and Altos de Chavón.
Yesterday morning on our way to the Chavón river for a kayaking excursion (lots of photos and all about that soon), we spotted Catalina island on the horizon – so we just had to stop and take photos.
This magnificent photo (even if I do say so myself) was taken at the Marina Casa de Campo on Thursday the 18th of July as I was walking to the Sunset Jazz Night at the Azimut Café – and was one of the reasons we arrived to that event a little later than planned, but […]
I am willing to admit that I am currently a little bit obsessed with the Flamboyant trees……..I don’t know whether this year they are even more beautiful than normal in Casa de Campo or if it’s just that I’m noticing them more, either way – they are just so beautiful!
This week’s “photo of the week” was taken during the 3rd annual Buen Samaritano golf tournament and is a beautiful reflection of a wonder summer day in Casa de Campo – golfing in the sunshine, framed by the majestic fiery flowers of the many Flamboyant trees, which are currently blooming all across the resort.
This week’s photo of the week was contributed by Rick Rosemarin and was taken from Casa de Campo villa, Punta Minitas #34, a magnificent oceanside villa with it’s own beach and which is often welcoming many rich and famous guests!
In this week’s “Casa de Campo photo of the week” we reveal one of Altos de Chavón’s best kept secrets – a fantastic place to enjoy a beer or even a picnic!
On Saturday the 5th of May (Cinco de Mayo!) amidst all the faux-Mexican celebrations Casa de Campo (and the rest of the world) were treated to incredible sightings of a “supermoon” – and we spotted her lighting up the midnight blue sky in Altos de Chavón.
This week’s photo of the week showcases the coastal town of La Romana on the South-Eastern coast of the Dominican Republic (just 5 minutes from Casa de Campo) at it’s very best – glowing in the evening sun.
Whenever I take a stroll on the Teeth of the Dog (normally early in the morning or late in the afternoon for sunset), I am always mesmerized by the ocean – avidly staring out watching the waves, the passing boats and hoping to see a dolphin. However, on this particular morning, my walking partner, Philip […]
I suddenly realized how many years have passed since my last visit to this unique place in La Romana in Casa de Campo… not really something to be really proud of. It was nice remembering the good old times and this amazing sunset at Minitas Beach was definitely a view to remember!
