This week’s photo of the week was contributed by Rick Rosemarin and was taken from Casa de Campo villa, Punta Minitas #34, a magnificent oceanside villa with it’s own beach and which is often welcoming many rich and famous guests!
Here Rick tells us a little more about the photo:
“The picture was inspired by the tranquility after the departure of some rather special guests. I actually took it on my iPhone. When I saw the sunset I just had to take a picture and it was the only camera around. I think this picture is awesome as the reflection of the palm trees in the Lagoon comes out so clearly.”
What a beautiful photo! Thanks Rick!
Punta Minitas #34, Casa de Campo
One of Casa de Campo’s most unique and remarkable villas and a beachfront gem, this remarkable Casa de Campo villa in Punta Minitas is renowned as one of the most spectacular homes in the entire Dominican Republic. This unique property was designed by architectural firms in New York and Spain with many construction materials imported from around the world.
Interesting design aspects include the distinctive twin turrets with master suites, private living rooms and breathtaking 180 degree ocean views and an extensive water feature that flows throughout the entire open-plan living space reminiscent of a castle moat.
This majestic five-bedroom estate comes complete with a junior-Olympic-size pool; awe-inspiring cascading fountains; breathtaking views of the ocean; gazebo; private dock; chefs kitchen; separate staff accommodations including a staff kitchen; and much, much more. Fit for a king, it is no wonder this palatial piece of paradise has accommodated visiting royalty – as well as many celebrities!
