golf casa de campo

This week’s “photo of the week” was taken during the 3rd annual Buen Samaritano golf tournament and is a beautiful reflection of a wonder summer day in Casa de Campo – golfing in the sunshine, framed by the majestic fiery flowers of the many Flamboyant trees, which are currently blooming all across the resort.

Pictured teeing off on hole #5 of Casa de Campo’s Links golf course is Mery Ledesma, who although unsuccessful in this tournament has recently won trophies at a string of Casa de Campo based tournaments. Most recently, Mery, a star student of Eric Lillibridge, who is the Director of Instruction at the Jim Mclean golf academy in Casa de Campo, was part of the winning team at the 17th annual Caribbean Golf Classic and having been crowned the Ladies Champion at the Fundación MIR Family Weekend for Life 2011 – we look forward to seeing Mery play once again in this year’s Fundación MIR Family Weekend for Life – on August 10th!
