This Sunday July the 22nd, the Central Romana “Fin de Zafra Golf Invitational”, hosted by the Cajuiles Golf Club will be taking place on Casa de Campo’s Links golf course to mark the end of the Central Romana Corporation’s 2011- 2012 milling season.

The Central Romana sugar factory in La Romana, which is celebrating it’s 100th anniversary has just finished its sugar production for the period 2011-2012, closing with a new record breaking production of 183,488 short tons of refined sugar – an increase of more than 1% over last year’s bumper production of 181, 516 tonnes.
