Central Romana “Fin de Zafra” Golf Invitational to be played in honor of Orlando Deffer and Francis Redman – this Sunday July 22nd!

Central Romana celebrates 100th anniversary and closes 2011-2012 milling season with record breaking production!

The Central Romana sugar factory in La Romana, which is celebrating it’s 100th anniversary has just finished its sugar production for the period 2011-2012, closing with a new record breaking production of 183,488 short tons of refined sugar – an increase of more than 1% over last year’s bumper production of 181, 516 tonnes.
