The Central Romana Coproration is poised to open a brand new office building in the Zona Franca just outside of the Casa de Campo resort in La Romana.
This new project consists of a two story, modular office building designed for service companies such as call centers, back office centers and general services such as hotel reservations, accounts management and recruitment.
The building has a total construction size of 1585m2 and is divided into 16, 75m2 offices designed with the requirements of these type of companies in mind.
Construction began in February of this year and is poised to be completed by the end of this month (October 2014). All of the space has been rented already, by major companies such as Finamer Business Corp., Etching Enterprises and the Tabacalera de Garcia.
This building is the first of a project that consists of 3 similar office buildings designed to offer the companies and people of the region good, affordable office space, with the benefits of being established in a “Zona Franca”. Plans are already in place to continue the project, so that more office spaces will be available soon.
This project is being overseen by Julio López, Administrator for the Zona Franca, who is also a keen polo player and the youngest son of Dr. José López, the Health Vice President of Central Romana & Director of the Centro Médico.
