“Jeffrey” screening under the stars!
Last Thursday, March 15th, the Dirección General de Cine, Chavón School of Design, and Casa de Campo showed another fantastic Dominican film under the stars in Altos de Chavón at the world-famous amphitheater. Students, residents, and vacationers filled the pop-up theater eager to watch Jeffrey written, directed, and produced by Dominican Yanillys Pérez.

Talented Chavoneros to keep under your radar
Under the theme “Reshape the Future,” Chavón School of Design students pull out all the stops in producing ensembles that are eco-friendly and statement worthy. Incorporating only recycled pieces, designers told stories that spoke volumes in terms of environmentalism and humanitarianism.

New film workshop with renown Argentine director Lucrecia Martel in Chavón
From February 19th to 26th renown Argentine director Lucrecia Martel, will be here in the La Romana Campus of Chavón School of Design. During her time here she will have several meetings with students and the public in general as well as a 5 hour workshop on Wednesday, February 21st!

Another Successful Movie Night Under Stars At The Amphitheater in Chavón
Last Thursday, January 18th, The Dirección General de Cine, Chavón School of Design, and Casa de Campo put on their second outdoor movie at the amphitheater and it was a huge success! The cool evening sky cleared and bright stars lit up the night sky as Nana, the documentary, played on the big screen!
