Hey there motocross fans and enthusiasts! We have great news for you, Casa de Campo will be having its very own Motocross track!
This track is in thanks to the collaboration between our friends at One Way Bike and Costasur. Umberto Pitzalis, owner of One Way Bike at the Marina Casa de Campo and in La Romana, is a former professional cyclist and supporter of the La Vega Elite Cycling Team; he’s given us all the details.
The track will be inaugurated as part of the program of events that will take place during the Hogar del Niño Weekend on Saturday, February 13th from 9-5pm. The event is open to the public; and for those of you living outside Casa de Campo, you’ll be able to access the track through the new entrance by purchasing a ticket in advance. Tickets will not be available at the entrance on the day, so email info@pbo.org.do to get yours now.
During the weekend’s events, there will be an international motocross rider, Franklin Nogueras Jr. who will be sharing cool tips and tricks with attendees. Plus, if you don’t already have a bike yourself, you’ll have access to motocross bikes and buggies to ride the track, and there are even plans to have bikes available for kids! Also, there will be stands with all major bike brands in the country: Sherco, Yamaha, Suzuki, KTM, Honda, and BMW!
The Motocross event will feature music, food provided by Dom Ham and Cinco Gelato and hydration, of course, thanks to One Way Bike! With your ticket you’ll also be entered into a raffle, so hold on to it tightly and see what prize you can win!
So let’s get out and have some fun, not only because we love motocross but also for the children of Hogar del Niño, with all proceeds going to the charity. Don’t miss out on this fantastic outdoor event for an awesome cause!
