We are one whole month into the year 2016! How is keeping up with your New Year’s resolutions going? There are so many ways to stay in shape here in Casa de Campo! Here are some workouts to keep you going or get you started. You can find lots of activities right up your alley!

Fitness Classes at Casa de Campo:

Stretching – flexing muscles can increase muscle control, flexibility, and range of motion, as well as prevent injuries, relieve tension, and improve alignment.

  • Monday: 8:30am
  • Wednesday: 10am

Spinning – is a specific form of indoor cycling, a cardio (aerobic) workout set to upbeat music. Spinning is great for those who want a motivating workout in group format.

  • Monday & Thursday: 10am
  • Friday: 6:30pm

ABS – the workout for perfect 6-pax!

  • Monday: 4pm
  • Thursday: 8:30am
  • Saturday: 10am

Aerobics – here’s a  workout that combines rhythmic cardio exercise with stretching and strength-training routines. Hello weight loss and body toning!

  • Tuesday: 6:30pm

Body Pump – it is all about using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BodyPump gives you a total body workout. It is for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast.

  • Tuesday & Sunday: 10am
  • Thursday: 6:30pm

3×3 – is special muscle building technique, incorporating two exercises to perform each workout session, and all you have to do is three sets of three reps for each one.

  • Thursday: 10am
  • Tuesday: 4pm

Zumba – Pretty much the most awesome workout ever. Dance to great music, with great people, and burn a ton of calories without even realizing it.

  • Wednesday & Saturday: 8:30am
  • Thursday: 4pm

Cardio Box – this energetic, athletic workout will challenge your cardiovascular fitness, stamina and overall strength.

  • Wednesday: 4pm
  • Saturday: 6:30pm

Pilates – is safe system of mind-body exercise, building strength without excess bulk, and is capable of creating a sleek, toned body with slender thighs and a flat abdomen.

Yoga at Casa de Campo

There are yoga classes right on the beach! What could be a better way to do your yoga routine and practise the asanas than when accompanied by the soothing sounds of the ocean. Matts are provide.

Yoga at Aldea Cultural

Yoga at Aldea Cultural Santa Rosa de Lima in La Romana offers Sivandana Yoga classes.  Sivandana style it is the form of Hatha yoga combining Pranayana, sun salutations, asanas and long relaxation. It helps the strength and flexibility of the spine. Chanting and meditation can also be a part of full-length class. Jackie Arvelo teaches on Monday, Shakti on Wednesdays, and Caroline on Fridays, all providing mats if you don’t have one.
