Surely you are getting ready for an exciting summer weekend at Casa de Campo featuring the Juan Luis Guerra at Altos de Chavón this Saturday. If you are not here yet, we are certain you are making your way over here any minute now. You wouldn’t want to miss a weekend of great music and fantastic dining now would you? So if you are not entirely in the loop with what’s going on in Casa, we bring you our top recommendations for what to do in Casa de Campo this weekend:
1. Juan Luis Guerra y la 440
It’s the first time Juan Luis Guerra has performed in Altos de Chavón in 15 years, he brings his 440 band, and its SOLD OUT. Basically, it will be THE concert of the summer. Share your pictures with us using #cdcliving and #JLGontherocks for a chance to be featured on our next article and social media!

2. Cena Cuatro Manos
Casa de Campo’s new Executive Chef, Anthony Masas, is making his formal debut for our community and he is accompanied by his special guest, Eric Malmstead, Chef for O.Livia in Santo Domingo, to collaborate with him on Cena Cuatro Manos. A fantastic 5 course meal at La Piazzeta, TONIGHT (Friday, June 26th). For more details and reservation information, read our featured article: Chefs Masas and Malmsten host Cena Cuatro Manos.

3. Caja China at Fogo do Brazil
If, like us, you didn’t get your tickets for the concert before they were sold out, inviting friends over to Fogo do Brazil, playing Foosball, Ping Pong and Darts while enjoying a RD$500 all you can eat Caja China Pig Roast all night, sounds like an amazing plan! For reservations dial (809) 523-2323

4. Concert After-Party at Onno’s
On Saturday evening, after dancing at the Juan Luis Guerra concert, make sure to stop by Onno’s Bar, one of the top ranked restaurants of the “Best of 2014” contest, as the bar/restaurant hosts its traditional concert after-party with DJ Mackenzie.

5. Brunch and Smoothies at Fresh Fresh
Picture this: You wake up a little late on Sunday after a big night out (10:00 am ish) and you still have a whole day to enjoy Casa before the dreaded MONDAY comes around and the work week gets rolling. You want to unwind and just enjoy a coffee or smoothie and a delicious brunch in a great ambiance. Where would you go? FRESH FRESH Chavón of course…our favorite chillaxing and healthy eating spot in Casa. We love visiting Fresh Fresh on weekend mornings! Don’t miss out on a special 10% discount on ALL of their menu this weekend. They are making that available thinking of our CCL readers, so don’t forget to show them some love.
6. Unwind at Ki-Ra Holistic Living Spa
If you feel that you need to relax, detox and unwind this weekend, we would recommend visiting Ki-Ra Holistic Living Spa, the official Casa de Campo Spa. There is no other single spot in Casa that exudes the kind of tranquility and peace you feel while at the Spa. Not only are the current packages for villa owners very reasonably priced, but Kyra herself has made available a special offer that includes a free Health and Wellness consult with her to anyone who purchases a package of 10 yoga classes (available if purchased this coming week). With that deal available, and all the other services available at the Spa, there is absolutely no excuse for not pampering yourself this weekend!

7. FCBEscola Technical Skills Training School for the kids
We have not forgotten about the kids! We know they are already out of school and you are probably looking for something memorable for them to do this weekend while you head over to the Spa or enjoy yourself at one of Casa’s restaurants. FCBEscola soccer clinics are just what you are looking for! The clinics are held at the Polo Fields are held between 3pm and 4:30pm. Read our article about Everything you need to know about FCBEscola and call Concierge for more information.

There is certainly no shortage of things to do and spots to visit this weekend. It may not be a long weekend, but it sure will be a fun one in Casa! Remember to share your Casa adventures using #cdcliving for a chance to be featured soon.
