Alonzo Mourning

More famous faces spotted in Casa de Campo! This time it’s a whole load of NBA basketball players who were spotted chilling out at La Caña by Il Circo restaurant and lounge in the heart of the Casa de Campo hotel.

Over the last few months, Miguel, who rolls cigars at La Caña every night, spotted and had his photograph taken with Joe Johnson, Byron Scott, Jimmy Jackson and Alonzo Morning.

Byron Antom Scott (born March 28, 1961) is an American former professional basketball player and current head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Scott grew up in Inglewood, California and played at Morningside High School, in the shadow of what was then the Lakers’ home arena, The Forum. He attended Arizona State University, but left school in his junior year to sign with the then San Diego Clippers. He was an important component of the Los Angeles Lakers championship teams of the mid-to-late 1980s.

Joe Marcus Johnson (born June 29, 1981) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association in other words NBA.

Johnson attended the University of Arkansas where he played under Nolan Richardson for two years. After two years in Arkansas he declared for the 2001 NBA Draft, where he was drafted 10th overall by the Boston Celtics. He has also played for the Phoenix Suns and Atlanta Hawks. Johnson is a seven-time NBA All-Star and a former member of the U.S. national team.

Alonzo Harding Mourning, Jr. (born February 8, 1970) is an American former professional basketball player, who played most of his 15-year NBA career for the Miami Heat.

Nicknamed “Zo”, Mourning played at center. Following his college basketball career at Georgetown University, his tenacity on defense twice earned him NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award and perennially placed him on the NBA All-Defensive Team. He made a comeback after undergoing a kidney transplant and later won the 2006 NBA Championship with the Heat. He has also played for the Charlotte Hornets and New Jersey Nets. Since June 26, 2009, Mourning has served as Vice President of Player Programs and Development for the Heat. On April 7, 2014, it was announced that Mourning will be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

James Arthur “Jim” Jackson (born October 14, 1970) is an American retired professional basketball player. Over his 14 NBA seasons, Jackson was on the active roster of 12 different teams, tying the league record. He is currently a basketball analyst on the Big Ten Network.

The teams in which Jimmy Jackson played were: The Dallas Mavericks, New Jersey Nets, Philadelphia 76ers, Golden State Warriors, Portland Trail Blazers, Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers
