A couple of days ago, we announced one of the events to take place during the Hogar del Niño Weekend next Saturday, February 13th is the inauguration of the new Motocross Track in Casa de Campo. But before that event starts, the MTB marathon begins at 8:30 am!
The Mountain Bike marathon (MTB) is an incredible event in favor of all the kids at Hogar del Niño, and all proceeds will go into their foundation and provide schooling, healthcare medical care, and many other necessities to benefit the children. The marathon starting point is La Romana Country Club, where One Way Bike will provide drinks and Vita Salud will also have a stand showcasing their products. The route travels around Casa de Campo and includes the new Motocross track, covering a distance of 30 km in all. Since it’s a family affair, for parents who are concerned for their kids to ride such a long distance there will be a shorter way where riders can turn back to the Country Club.
The marathon will have several stops including, Fresh Fresh, where you will enjoy a delicious smoothie, and La Morela for yummy snacks. At the end, once returning to La Romana Country Club you’ll delight in pizza provided by Casa de Campo, gelato by Cinco, and hot dogs by Higueral.
The event is open to the public and for those who live outside of Casa de Campo, you will be able to access the resort with your pre-purchased ticket; email [email protected] or call using the contact details below to buy one now as they will not be available at the entrance on the day of. With it you’ll be entered into a raffle! Also, don’t forget, if you don’t have a bike you can always contact our friends at One Way Bike and see if one is available to borrow.
Don’t miss the chance to experience Casa de Campo on a whole new level!
