Last of the year! Flavors of the World features Peru with Renzo Garibaldi

This is the end of the third year for Flavors of the World in Casa de Campo and it has been truly exquisite!  This year’s Flavors of the World has been dedicated to Latin America, with chef’s coming from Guadalajara, Chile, Bolivia, Argentina and Venezuela. The last edition of the year will take place in two weeks, on Saturday 17th and will feature non other than Peru’s meat king Renzo Garibaldi.Peru is famous for its gastronomy with numerous restaurants rated amongst the best in the world. This is the second time it is part of the very successful monthly series of gastronomical events that have been taken place in the resort since 2016. Each edition has offered the public dinners, cocktails, beach parties, brunch and music for the enjoyment of the most demanding diners and foodies. 

Osso Restaurant, Peru

Chef Renzo Garibaldi of Osso in Lima is a world class butcher with commitment to sustainable, whole animal butchery.  In less than five years, his restaurant Osso in Lima went from being a semi-secret table at the back of a meat emporium to one of the Peruvian capital’s favourite eateries. A butcher’s shop and restaurant all rolled into one, Osso is the place to go in Lima for all the best cuts, from perfectly cooked ribeye to flavoured sausages (cheddar, rocoto pepper marmalade and limo chilli). Almost everything is grilled over the barbecue and there’s a casual a la carte as well as a tasting menu to be eaten with the hands only. This year Osso earned the #25 spot on Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants list. 

The Flavors of the World culinary weekend will feature a Beach Party with BBQ and live music on Saturday night with Renzo Garibaldi and Chef Anthony Masas and on Sunday, the traditional brunch á la carte both events will be taking place at Minitas Beach Club. Hope to see you all there!
