Exercise, good nutrition and stress reducing techniques will help fight aging and help you not only look but also feel younger longer. There are 3 foods that have been found to be the powerhouses of staying young, try adding these to your diet as often as possible for long term age reversing effects!

  1. Rosemary. This deliciously fragrant herb contains carnosic acid which helps fight free radicals in the brain that contribute to Alzheimer’s, Lou Gehrig’s disease and stroke. Season your favorite protein with rosemary or add it to salads and even rice!
  2. Strawberries. Studies have shown that including at least 2 servings of strawberries to your diet per week helps reduce inflammation which is linked to clogging and hardening arteries. Both increase with age and boost your risk of heart attack. Add strawberries to your morning cereal or oatmeal or whip up a heart healthy smoothie with a handful of strawberries.
  3. Olive Oil. Recent studies have found that there’s a specific antioxidant in extra virgin olive oil that helps protect against brain-cell damage. You can’t beat that! Choose a high quality olive oil and keep it in a cool, dark place. Drizzle over salad, your favorite vegetables, rice, pasta and just about anything else!
