Today, Sunday May 13th (the 2nd Sunday in May) the United States of America and in fact the majority of countries in the world celebrate Mother’s Day, so although the Dominican Republic doesn’t celebrate Mother’s Day until the last Sunday in May (the 27th), we in Casa de Campo are such a multi-cultural community, that we would like to take this opportunity to say – HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
So however or wherever you are spending your day – we hope you have a great one!
For those of you enjoying your day in Casa de Campo, here are a few nice ways to spend your day:
Family fun day at Minitas Beach!
Casa de Campo’s private beach is super for relaxing, sunbathing and frolicking in the sea – making it a wonderful place to spend with the family.
For lunch you can eat with your feet in the sand at The Beach Club by Le Cirque, or for an extra special treat you can commandeer one of the 3 private beach cabañas, where you can eat and chill in style!

Golf!
Golf is not just for men! Many mothers love golf too, so perhaps you and your mum could enjoy a round on one of Casa de Campo’s Pete Dye designed courses; The Teeth of the Dog, Links and the Dye Fore.
Although Casa de Campo is most famous for the Teeth of the Dog, a great option for something new and a bit different is the Links – which just reopened at the end of March following a complete renovation.
Great food and great atmosphere at Gino’s!
Why not treat your mother to a nice lunch or dinner at Gino’s? Gino In Trastevere is Casa de Campo’s most popular and authentic Italian restaurant, serving up delicious and traditional thin and crispy pizzas, perfectly “al dente” pastas and some of the best seafood in Casa de Campo!
Cocktails on the terrace also come very highly recommended – whatever the time of day, having a drink or bite to eat on the terrace, you will enjoy the most spectacular view of the Chavón river and a refreshing breeze.
And finally, the Fundación MIR would like to join us in wishing you a very HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
