Gabriella Reginato, who introduced to us her new line of gourmet products VOALA! a couple of months ago at Azimut Café in the Marina Casa de Campo, is now ready to open the doors to her studio space in La Romana! She invites everyone for an afternoon of tastings, cocktails, and learning about her wide range of services while having some fun in the kitchen. The informal affair runs from 3p.m.- 8p.m. so stop on by anytime at Studio Cocina in Calle Restauración #15.
The TV personality hosts her own show, Sabores, where she shares with audience members her favorite recipes and how to make them; and now you have the opportunity to learn from her in person. Offering weekly cooking classes with fixed menus that range from salads, fish, meat, hors d’oeuvres and desserts you’ll easily pick up on new recipes and delicious tactics to use in your kitchen. The classes are divided for kids, teens, adults and even maids. Say you’d like your at home chef to learn the ins-and-outs behind your favorite recipes, well that’s an option too. Just sit down with Gabriella for a consultation session and she’ll craft a specific cooking lesson for your maid from the basics to the specialities, depending on your needs.
The studio space has an area to host meetings, birthday parties, bachelorettes, bridal showers and more, and you can even take over the kitchen! Renting out the kitchen is an ideal option for lunch and dinner parties where you don’t want the complexities of cooking at home. Is your kitchen too small? Are you missing the optimal cookware? Or do you just not want a big mess? Well, with everything included from cookware to flatware, it’s a hassle-free service where you can prepare meals for guests, or even host you’re own class. Gabriella doesn’t have to be there, and you can rent the space to bake with your friends.
Studio Cocina includes a storefront where you can find the Dominican chef’s excellent gourmet products like Sundried Tomato Pesto, Truffled Mustard, Bacon Marmalade, Herb Mix and Truffle Butter. They also sell excellent options in olive oil and sesame seed oil among others, and you’ll be able to browse through a selection of items around the kitchen. Personalize glasses, cups, trays and more for gifts this holiday season!
Join the Open House this coming Tuesday, November 1st to learn about Gabriella’s breadth of services and specific pricing. Her weekly cooking classes run approximately RD $1,500 and she not only offers lessons in food – you’ll find classes on wine tastings, mixing cocktails, and crafting that perfect cup of Joe that makes waking up in the morning something you actually look forward to. Talk of a monthly Chef’s Table is brewing, which will sit 10 – 12 guests in the kitchen where Gabriella (or a surprise invited guest!) will cook up something sweet. Listen for her announcement at the Open House on her first classes this November 2nd and 3rd. All in the spirit of good living, Gabriella’s new kitchen, Studio Cocina is meant for you to share with her and others the joys of cooking.
