Located in the heart of Santiago, 99 is well known for its inventive, modern tasting menus featuring the best Chilean products from land and sea. Their website reads “The 99 Restaurant is neither large nor elegant, but it is considered the best in Chile. Our kitchen tries to be sincere, not forgetting the taste or the affection and respect for the product”. Both executive chef Kurt Schmidt and pastry chef Gustavo Saez have developed a deep appreciation for Chilean local ingredients. 99 Restaurant is on the Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants list for 2015 and 2016. In 2017 the restaurant earned the second place in the Top10 Best Restaurants of Santiago and Best Contemporary Chilean Cuisine Restaurant.
