The “Buen Samaritano” Foundation and General Hospital – providing healthcare services to rural La Romana for more than 15 years!

The  “Buen Samaritano” Foundation and General Hospital is a non profit institution which, since 1997, thanks to doctors and volunteers from abroad, has developed a wonderful program to provide health and education to many children and women in the La Romana area.

Italian Chef Paolo De Vita, from the exclusive Tracadero restaurant, teaches boys and girls at MIR’s vocational schools

Italian chef Paolo De Vita, who works at Tracadero in Bayahibe has just started as a volunteer teacher at the Fundación MIR’s schools; the MIR Esperanza (boys vocational school), the Escuela Tecnica Vocacional Fundación MIR (girls vocational school), sharing his extensive cooking and catering knowledge with the students.
