Italian chef Paolo De Vita, who works at Tracadero in Bayahibe has just started as a volunteer teacher at the Fundación MIR’s schools; the MIR Esperanza (boys vocational school), the Escuela Tecnica Vocacional Fundación MIR (girls vocational school), sharing his extensive cooking and catering knowledge with the students.
And now with the addition of Chef Paolo De Vita who started as a teacher on March 3rd 2012, the pupils enrolled in the Fundación MIR’s cooking programs will not only benefit from the experience of their own teachers, but also the extensive “real-life” experience of Chef Paolo, who will be able to impart his wisdom , better preparing the pupils for work outside of the classroom and in a restaurant.
Chef Paolo De Vita is the executive chef and F.B. Manager at Tracadero, restaurant, an ocean-side beach club with a fantastic restaurant located in the nearby area of Bayahibe (just 30 minutes drive from Casa de Campo).
