Save the Date! The 12th annual McDaniel Tennis Tournament is coming very soon!! This is a 3-day tennis tournament that will be held from Thursday, March 9th to Sunday the 12th, and we encourage you to mark your calendars to support this fun event which raises funds for health insurance and scholarships for the players and ball boys of Casa de Campo.
The Tournament
Just like last year, and thanks to the success of the tournament, it will be a balanced pre-arranged doubles draw, featuring 20 of the best players in Casa de Campo. All matches will be played at the tennis courts of La Romana Country Club, and the happy winners will receive their trophies during an awards ceremony following the finals at LRCC.

Thursday March 9th, 9am – Tournament play starts at La Terraza Tennis Club
Thursday March 9th, noon – Sponsors appreciation lunch hosted by Marty and Marilyn Chattman (by invitation only – for sponsors donating US$150 or more) – read our coverage from last years luncheon here.
Friday March 10th, 9am – Tournament quarter finals at La Terraza Tennis Club
Saturday March 11th, 9am – Tournament semi-finals at La Terraza Tennis Club
Sunday March 12th, 4pm – Finals at La Romana Country Club followed by the Awards Ceremony for all the players at 6pm
Donations
Donations will go to the Player’s Health Insurance, the Ball Boys Scholarship Fund, and College Scholarships for two students. Plus, the boys also receive weekly English lessons! Contribution checks in dollars can be made out to McDaniel Family Foundation, and in pesos to Fundación Familia McDaniel. Any member of the McDaniel Tennis Committee will be very pleased to accept your donation, or you may drop it off at the office at the LRCC. Last year, we were witness to Mr. McDaniel personally delivering the checks to each of the schools, guaranteeing each of these boys education. Sponsorship
The McDaniel Tennis Committee, of which Casa de Campo Living and SILGON is part, is once again hoping to raise more funds to continue increasing the number of ball boys educated under the Ball Boy’s Scholarship Foundation. So if YOU want to help support this cause, individual sponsors are very welcome, with suggested donations between US$150 up to US$5,000. There is also a “Corporate Sponsorship” option.
