As is tradition during the McDaniel Family Foundation Tennis Tournament, the community members who support and sponsor the programs aimed at providing better education and healthcare for the Casa de Campo tennis professionals and ball boys met for the Sponsors Appreciation Luncheon this past Wednesday, February 24. Marilyn and Marty Chattman hosted the event at La Romana Country Club for approximately 50 Casa de Campo supporters who have formalized their donations for the Foundation’s programs. During the casual yet graceful affair, Mr. Rick McDaniel thanked the attendees for their support and mentioned that thanks to the sponsors, the Tournament has been able to once again raise the necessary funds to cover health care for the tennis professionals at La Terraza Tennis Center and La Romana Country Club, as well as support the school education for the ball boys. i-TmzkTXp-L While the crowd was excited to mingle with friends, attendees were even more excited about coming to the Tennis Courts from Thursday through Saturday to watch the resort’s 20 top professional players battle it out on the courts in the Foundation’s first ever exciting double’s tournament.
