To celebrate its first year teaching Performing Arts in La Romana, Stage Art Studio will be having a BIG celebration this Saturday, December 17th. It’s a show for the whole family, full of lights, camera and action!
Stage Art Studio opened their doors on January 15th in La Romana, offering various dance classes, including contemporary ballet, jazz, flamenco, hip hop, and a program for adults, Dance-Fit. They also offer the first Musical Theatre program in the Eastern region that involves singing, dancing and acting. Stage Art Studio prepares choreographies for weddings, birthdays and other social or business events, which are complimented by a broad portfolio of talent to meet customer requests. They were recently part of the animation team for one of Casa’s spookiest Halloween parties, Simply Haunted Mansion, giving a thrilling performance!
Alicia Campillo, who has herself 12 years of experience teaching and a master in Performing Arts from the University Rey Juan Carlos in Spain, presents: “A Night in Hollywood”! The show will take place with 5o students in the Auditorium of the Colegio Inmaculado Corazón de María (most commonly known as Colegio de las Monjas). There will be musical theater, jazz, hip hop, ballet, contemporary, and flamenco presentations throughout the night… Each piece is inspired by a movie. You’ll be whisked into the Hunger Games, James Bond, Mission Impossible and many more!
Tickets are for sale NOW at the school, in addition to being sold by the Studio’s students, and at the door on the day of the event. Don’t miss what we are sure will be a trip through some of Hollywood’s greatest films!
