Young Dominican golfer, Willy Pumarol, of the Willy Pumarol Classic Golf tounament to be played in Casa de Campo this August, has just obtained his first professional victory in the Reunion Series of the Moonlight Tour in Orlando, Florida!
Interviewed in the most recent edition of our sister publication, CasaLife Magazine, Willy Pumarol, an extremely talented young sportsman we herald as “a rising star of Dominican golf” is already proving himself to be exactly that. Now with one professional victory under his belt, it’s only a matter of time before we see this rising star become a shooting star!
Willy’s victory came last Friday, the 27th of June, when Willy Pumarol demonstrated his golfing prowess at the Reunion Series of the Moonlight Tour, held in Orlando, Florida, on a course designed by none other than legendary designer Tom Watson, at the Golf Reunion Resort, which boasts courses by designers such as Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, and the aforementioned Tom Watson.

Willy played an impeccable round, with 14 pars and 4 birdies on holes 4, 10, 14 and 16, making for a total score of 68, thats 4 below par! This saw him finishing just above his closest competitors- Gregg Swift and James Gibson -who both ended with 69, rendering Pumarol the winner of the Reunion Series.
With that incredible victory under his belt, Willy Pumarol now qualifies to compete in the OGA Tour Level II Championships, where he will be sure to continue displaying his excellence at his craft, honed, among other places, on the magnificent courses found right here at Casa de Campo.
Congratulations Willy, we wish you the best of luck from those of us here at Casa de Campo Living!
