The Living Room by Good Vibes
Have you heard of the new spot that is opening in Altos de Chavón?? We hear it will be filled with good vibes! Xiomarita Menendez, Michaela Tolentino, Sandra Alvarado and Ana Pereyra have teamed up to bring us a new place where we can feel at home and relax. The Living Room by Good Vibes, located right across from Fresh Fresh with a magnificent view of the Chavón river, will have it’s very soft soft opening TONIGHT with great music by DJ Avin who has the greatest collection of vinyl records in Santo Domingo, beers, and best of all great company! It all starts at 6pm, don’t miss out!

Traditional Live Nativity by the children of the Fundación MIR
Just a few days ago we saw that a group of Fundación MIR children came to Chavón to rehearse their traditional annual presentation, and if what we saw and heard is any indication of what will happen today, we are sure it will be one of their best representations of Jesus’ arrival in Bethlehem. Jazz on the Rocks with Carlos Marcelo Jazz Band
As part of the holiday program prepared by Altos de Chavón and Casa de Campo, Carlos Marcelo and his jazz group will be here to entertain us tonight. These talented Dominican musicians invite you to enjoy an evening with the best of Latin Jazz, Jazz-Swing, Blues, Soul, Bossanova and Bee Bop.
Saturday, December 23rd
Dueños Tour 2017 Christmas Cup
This year the Casa de Campo golf department hosted monthly events for Dueños and their guests as a way for them to have some fun on the green at great prices. These tournaments took place on the Teeth of The Dog, Dye Fore, and Links golf courses in various formats. This Saturday, December 23rd at 9 am, you are invited to the last Dueños Tour event of the year, the Christmas Cup at the Dye Fore golf course here in Casa de Campo. Continue reading here.
Boleros on the Rocks Johanna Almanzar and Orchestra
A Bohemian night with the great voice and presence of this Dominican vocalist, with a large repertoire of Latin-American all-time hits. Come dance and sing along, and don’t forget to bring the kids since Santa’s tropical home will be open from 6-8 pm.
Sunday, December 24th
Christmas Carols by the Madrigalistas Choir
Come and get into the Christmas spirit with the Madrigalistas Choir conducted by Prof. Andrés Capellán at 9pm, followed by the Christmas Eve Mass at 10pm and the traditional Eggnog toast.
Monday, December 25th
It’s Christmas!
Come celebrate in Altos de Chavón starting at 5pm with a Christmas day mass followed by the Armonia Choir and their cheerful repertoire of national and international holiday songs. Santa will also be here, giving the kids the opportunity to talk with him about what they recieved earlier that day! To end the day, slip on your dancing shoes and enjoy the holidays to the rhythm of the cover band Dekadas playing merengue.
