Now that The Bachelorette filmed here in Casa de Campo has aired and as we eagerly await the finale also shot in Casa de Campo (to be aired this coming Monday July 28th at 8pm on ABC), we’ve read that a proposal took place in Altos de Chavón!
In the most recent edition of Life & Style magazine, it is revealed that not only did the winner of The Bachelorette propose here in Casa de Campo, in Altos de Chavón, but he also did it with the biggest ring the show has ever seen – “a US$100,000 Neil Lane engagement ring with a 4.4 carat centre stone with a halo of diamonds,” claims an insider source quoted by Life & Style magazine.
The magic of this perfect proposal is described by Life & Style magazine:
“A gentle tropical breeze, tugged at her flowing white dress as the reigning Bachelorette stood in the middle of a stunning Dominican stone village. Her eyes widened and a smile lit up her face as her final Bachelor got down on one knee.”
Following the romantic proposal (to which she apparently says “yes”), the happy couple then allegedly spent a magical few days in Casa de Campo enjoying the beauty of the resort in a US$7,500 a night private villa, with a private beach – we wonder which one that could be!?
Of course, we don’t really know IF a proposal really does take place… we’ll all have to tune into the finale next Monday, July 28th at 8pm on ABC.
In the other episode shot in Casa de Campo, aired on July 14th we saw The Bachelorette, Andi Dorfman, go horseback riding with Chris through the Dominican wilderness, as well as on a date with Josh where they dance merengue in the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo. Click here to read more about that!
If you’re in the US and are desperate to read more, this issue of Life & Style magazine is on newstands now.
Tune in on Monday July 28th at 8pm on ABC to see what really happens!
