This Saturday May 19th 2012, the “Teeth of the Dog” racehorse named after Casa de Campo’s famous Pete Dye designed golf course; the Teeth of the Dog and co-owned by Casa de Campo villa owner Jose Singer, will race in the 137th running of the Preakness Stakes, one of the most famous and popular horse races in the US.

The “Teeth of the Dog” horse, a 3-year old stallion is, much like it’s golfing counterpart already set for stardom – since his racing debut in December 2011 “Teeth of the Dog” has finished in the top 3 of all his races. Most recently “Teeth of the Dog” came in 3rd at the Wood Memorial Race on April 7th this year, much to the delights of his Dominican owners and Dominican delegation of fans, including Dominican Minister of foreign affairs and Casa de Campo villa owner, Carlos Morales Troncoso, who, waving a Casa de Campo flag were no doubt thrilled to watch their 15-1 longshot streak to victory!
