Infrastructure is important for tourism and tourism is indeed very important to all of us, which is why we have all been closely following up on the progress of the “Circunvalación de La Romana” bypass… which when completed will reduce travel between Casa de Campo and Santo Domingo to just 1 hour.

Odebrecht, the company responsible for building the new La Romana – Punta Cana highway, recently hosted a wonderful event for almost 900 boys and girls who live in the “Benerito” and “Villa Padre Nuestro” communities near to La Romana, with the principle objective “to create smiles” – and they certainly did!

The new La Romana-Punta Cana Highway is looking good!
The El Coral Highway, which when complete will join Santo Domingo, La Romana and Punta Cana, dramatically reducing travel time and distance between the Dominican Republic’s top tourist destinations is progressing very well and is ni some areas starting to look very impressive!
