Weather Update: Where is Emily?
Where is Tropical Storm Emily? Having sent our employees home and closed the office early, I must say I’m a little bit miffed that thus far the weather in Casa de Campo La Romana really hasn’t been that bad – and certainly not bad enough to warrant a half day off work!

All of my favorite ‘Only in the DR’ photos seem to involve motorbikes or pasolas or more specifically the weird and wonderful objects being transported on them, this week the object on the back of the motorbike may look like a scary sea monster, but it is in fact a Yuca plant!
