The beloved “Friendsgiving” tradition returns for its seventh edition on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, at Restaurante Lago in Casa de Campo. This cherished event, a highlight of the Casa de Campo community, not only celebrates friendship, gratitude and culinary excellence but also supports the Hogar del Niño’s pre-school Montessori program.

The centerpiece of the evening is the eagerly awaited “Best Turkey Competition,” where participants will showcase their culinary talents in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere. Last year’s competition saw Viky Giha take home the top prize. “I was thrilled to participate and hope everyone enjoyed the turkey — it was made with love from my hands to yours,” said Giha during the event.

While the number of chefs competing this year has yet to be confirmed, the event is expected to be as lively and delicious as ever. With each participant striving for the title of “Best Turkey,” the competition promises to be fierce, with the audience eagerly savoring the results.

Given that tickets often sell out quickly, residents are encouraged to secure their spots early for this unique gathering that brings the community together in the spirit of giving and celebration.

As excitement builds for the upcoming event, the burning question remains: Who will earn the coveted title of this year’s champion?

Mark your calendars for Nov. 21, 2024, and don’t miss the chance to be part of this Casa de Campo favorite.
