After the success of this year’s tournament, the second annual Sailfish Bowl fishing tournament will take in the Marina Casa de Campo from February 4 to 6, 2021, opening the fishing season and tournaments with the participation of prominent locals and international fishermen. This event will take place with all the health and safety protocols in order to ensure everyone has a safe and fun time.
The Sailfish Bowl 2021, which benefits the Fundación MIR, is a new sporting and social event that opens the fishing tournament season in Casa de Campo, welcoming the international sportfishing community and anglers. The format is “fun”, where fishermen, in addition to the billfish catch and release format, will be able to enjoy great parties, the amenities of the resort, and of course, the winners will be able to raise their trophies and prizes at the end of the event.
This year’s Sailfish Bowl was a success, reeling in fishing teams from all over the world come to enjoy a couple of days of competitive fishing on the heavily populated open water outside of Casa de Campo’s Marina. Teams enjoyed fishing during the day and celebrating during the evenings and next year is sure to be another great adventure you won’t want to miss out on!
