This summer it looks like we’ll be able to jet in and out of the Casa de Campo – La Romana international airport to New York even more frequently!
Yes my friends – we’ve just heard whispers that Jet Blue will this summer be increasing the number of flights to and from New York to Casa de Campo from twice a week to three times a week!
Currently our jet-set friends from New York can fly into the Casa de Campo – La Romana international airport direct every Wednesday and Saturday, but (apparently) starting this summer a third flight will be added – making a visit to Casa de Campo even more tempting, and for those of us living here – a shopping trip to New York even easier!
Whilst we have not heard anything about on what day of the week this new flight will be added – I am hoping for Fridays – to entice weekend visitors and of course so that I can plan a nice weekend get-away in New York! BUT as I said I really have no idea when the new flight is being scheduled – however if my sources are correct (and they usually are) – all will be revealed in the new few weeks… watch this space!
So if you’re planning a trip to Casa de Campo or New York this summer – you may want to wait a few weeks until you book… maybe this new flight will suit your schedule better!
The airport welcomes direct flights from New York, Miami and San Juan with connections to all main US cities, as well as the Eastern Caribbean Islands, Europe and South America, and also receives more private aircrafts than any other airport in the country.
