Not sure if you noticed just a few short months ago that Ozuna and Akon were shooting a music video in Altos de Chavón, well if you didn’t you can now see it! The video was released yesterday and it already has over 2 million views!
Ozuna was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on March 13, 1992, of Dominican parents, he often describes himself as “boricua with Dominican blood”. He specialises in genres such as trap and reggaetón. He showed interest in music since he was 12 years old and jumped to fame in 2016 after collaborating with DJ Luian, Mambo Kingz, De La Ghetto, Arcangel and Anuel AA in “La ocasión”. Currently, Ozuna is already one of the biggest names of the urban genre. Akon, the famous American R&B recording artist and songwriter, is no stranger to Casa. He has been here before and even filmed another music video back in 2011. It is known that Akon, on more than one occasion, has expressed his interest in Latin urban music and now he demonstrates it with this new musical duo, where he sings in Spanish.
The video was shot entirely in the Dominican Republic, with beautiful scenes shot in Altos de Chavón and the Faro a Colon. The music video, directed by Venezuelan Nuno Gomes, tells the love story between the Puerto Rican artist and a young woman whose mother does not agree with their relationship. The song belongs to the second album of the singer “Aura”, which was released on August 24 and consists of 20 songs with many catchy collaborations with artists Nicky Jam, J Balvin, Romeo Santos, Cardi B, amongst others.
