The Marina Casa de Campo introduces two new movies this week, “The Mountain between us” and “Blade Runner 2049” while still screening, “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” and “The Lego Ninjago Movie.We hope that you had the opportunity to see some of the films screened during last week’s Fine Arts International Film Festival. The festival is still going on in Santo Domingo; to learn more, click here. 

“The Mountain between us”

Showing:

Synopsis: Stranded after a tragic plane crash, two strangers must forge a connection to survive the extreme elements of a remote snow covered mountain. When they realize help is not coming, they embark on a perilous journey across the wilderness.

“Blade Runner 2049”

Synopsis: Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle

Synopsis: When their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, the Kingsman’s journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US. These two elite secret organizations must band together to defeat a common enemy.

“The Lego Ninjago Movie”

Synopsis: The battle for NINJAGO City calls to action young Master Builder Lloyd, aka the Green Ninja, along with his friends, also secret ninja warriors. Led by Master Wu, as wise-cracking as he is wise, they must defeat the evil warlord Garmadon, who also happens to be Lloyd’s dad. Pitting father against son, the epic showdown tests these fierce but undisciplined modern-day ninjas as they learn to check their egos and pull together to unleash the inner power of Spinjitzu.
