Body scrubs are a fun, easy and inexpensive way to freshen up your skin and make it shine! You can make all sorts of at home body scrubs to suit your needs even to find the smells that you like the best.
All you have to do is keep them in an airtight container (preferably glass!) and use them about twice a week for notably smoother, brighter skin.
Here are some of my favorite scrub recipes, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
Vanilla Brown Sugar Scrub for the body:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup coconut oil
- 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
Energizing Mocha Body Scrub
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp. cocoa powder (not hot chocolate mix with sugar added into it!)
- 1 tbsp. ground coffee
- 1 tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 tbsp. ginger
- ½ cup almond or jojoba oil
Oatmeal facial scrub:
- 1/2 cup finely ground oats
- ½ cup finely ground almond meal
Keep this in a container and when you’re ready to use it, add a little bit to your add with a little bit of liquid until it turns into a paste. You can use water, rosewater or even a mashed up banana or avocado.
