Next month, from the 6th to the 9th of February, the 5th Grand Induction week or the Latino Baseball Hall of Fame class 2014 will be celebrated in Casa de Campo and La Romana, with numerous special occasions, including the INMORTALES golf tournament, featuring this year’s luminaries of Latino Baseball Hall of Fame, such as Vinny Castilla, Roberto Alomar, Ubaldo Jimenez and much more.
The tournament teeing off on Friday February the 7th at 1:00 pm will be played on the Teeth of the Dog in a “best ball team” format, with prizes for individuals and teams.
With so many baseball legends expected to play, each team of 4 will consist of at least one former (or current) baseball player – you chance to tee off alongside these amazing baseball heros!

About the Latino Baseball Hall of Fame
This year the 3 day celebration will include The Latino Baseball Hall of Fame (el salón de la fama del beísbol latino), founded by Roberto Weill with Alfy Fanjul and Rafael Avila in 2009, aims to celebrate the achievements of hispanic and Caribbean Major League Baseball players – who are largely absent from the National Baseball Hall of Fame in New York.
This year 14 players will be exalted to the Latino Baseball Hall of fame in the 5th annual ”Grand Exaltation Ceremony”; Moises Alou (Dominican Republic), Luis Ernesto Salazar (Venezuela), Bert Campaneris (Cuba), Cesar Leonardo Tovar (Venezuela), Omar Moreno (Panamá), Aurelio Lopez (México), Vinny Castilla (Mexico), Silvio Garcia (Cuba), Osvaldo Virgil (Dominican Republic), Luis Garcia (Venezuela), Baldomero Almada (México), Luis Rodriguez Olmo (Puerto Rico), Gil Garrido(Panamá), Juan Ramon Pizarro (Puerto Rico)
The 5th annual “Grand Exaltation Ceremony” will be held on Saturday evening the 8th of February at the Altos de Chavón amphitheater.
