The new lunch hours, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., provide a more casual and relaxed option, ideal for those looking to enjoy authentic Italo-American cuisine in an unparalleled setting without the formality of dinner.

The lunch menu features a distinct selection from the dinner menu, maintaining the essence of Italo-American cooking that defines La Piazzetta, but with more agile and versatile options, perfect for sharing or enjoying lighter portions.

Manuel Jiménez, manager of La Piazzetta, explained that the initiative is aimed at offering a more accessible dining experience during the day. “We want our customers to enjoy a delicious and authentic meal in a peaceful environment, without the need to plan ahead or make a reservation. This new concept is perfect for those seeking something lighter, fresher, and more flexible,” said Jiménez.

Notable dishes include dips such as roasted red pepper hummus, Caponata La Piazzetta (a mix of eggplant, peppers, olives, and onions in olive oil), and Tomato Tapenade, served with focaccia bread, crackers, and cassava.

Homemade pasta remains a star, but with simpler and more comforting preparations like spaghetti and meatballs, ricotta and spinach ravioli with sage butter, and rigatoni with sausage ragù.

Sandwiches also stand out in this daytime offering, with options like chicken milanesa, Burger Hoyo 19, Steak Sandwich, and a vegetarian burger, all accompanied by light sides such as French fries, mashed potatoes, or fried cassava.

For those seeking something fresher, salads offer balanced combinations like the Pecorino, with lettuce, walnuts, apples, honey, and balsamic vinegar, as well as classic Caesar and Greek salads.

This more informal and flexible proposal does not require a reservation, allowing diners to enjoy a spontaneous and hassle-free experience. Additionally, lunch offers the chance to savor Italo-American cuisine while taking in the beauty of Altos de Chavón during the day.
