Dominican fashion designer, cultural advocate and Casa de Campo villa owner, Jenny Polanco- is at it again! On Saturday August 22nd, Jenny Polanco invites you to the opening of her latest art exhibit “Identity as a function of design” (El diseño como muestra de identidad), a collaboration with the the photographer/artist Tiziano de Stefano.

The inauguration cocktail of this new exhibit will take place on Saturday August 22nd from 7:30pm, while the exhibit itself will be open at The Gallery until the 20th of September.
In recent years, Jenny Polanco has presented a number of art-fashion-photography exhibits to the Casa de Campo community, exhibited here at The Gallery in Altos de Chavón. Most recently, in August 2014, we enjoyed “Good…Bad Hair” by Jenny Polanco & Yael Duval, a really interesting exhibit that showcased a beautiful collection of fashion photography, featuring models with comically bad hair. An exhibition to express how hair impacts social conditioning and image in Dominican society.
The last time the clothing/fashion designer, Jenny Polanco collaborated with the photographer/artist Tiziano De Stefano was in December 2010 with a joint photography project called “La Moda Como Musa” exhibit.
“Identity as a function of design” once again promises to be a beautiful combination of great photography and the unique fashion and accessories of Jenny Polanco, an expression of identity, fashion and design. We look forward to seeing you at the opening on Saturday August 22nd.
Jenny Polanco has over 30 years of experience in the world of fashion and design, and is currently an advisor to the Dominican Minister of Culture, José Antonio Rodríguez, Cultural Manager in the Eastern Region of the country and Director of the Cultural Village “Aldea Cultural Santa Rosa de Lima” in La Romana.
