According to Mrs. Maria Di Maio, it was started almost by accident with her family’s vacation. Falling in love with the international atmosphere of Casa de Campo and her own piece of paradise, she decided to bring a part of Italy here, the tradition of Naples and the Amalfi Coast. Limoncello is in fact the name of a liqueur from that area of southern Italy. It is a trattoria with the quintessential feeling of an Italian family dinner. “Our cuisine is simple and genuine, respecting the tradition of Mediterranean cuisine,” said Dona Maria.
She pays acute attention to the quality of the food, believing that great food is about substance and starts with choice ingredients. Every day, Dona Maria selects vegetables, fruits, meats and fish herself. Precisely the use of quality products and cooked in a simple and genuine way is what distinguishes the restaurant and is its recipe for success.
