Good day, Casa family! We hope you are all having a wonderful time during these festive days. So much has changed this past two years, but we are hopeful that 2022 will be the year we’ve been longing for.
This year, Casa de Campo Living Magazine has made a few changes which include us going digital and updating our design! The Winter issue looks better than ever! In this issue we are sharing some of this year’s Casa events and occasions, honoring all the goodtimes we have had in Casa, and the many more that are to come!
This is our 38th edition, and in it, we showcase a beautiful country-style home inspired by European elegance and local charm; the perfect home for families searching to spend a nice, relaxing vacation in the Caribbean.
Add to this an appreciation for Altos de Chavón’s craftsmanship and fantastic designs created by Dominican artisans, plus interesting news on property tax exemptions for senior citizens over 65 years, a wonderful article contributed by our friend Alfredo Guzmán, attorney-partner at Guzmán Ariza, Attorneys at Law, and more!
We hope you’ll find in the stories published in our Casa de Campo Living Magazine Winter edition 2021 all that you expect and that it will be to your liking. Be on the lookout as the hot-off-the-press print edition is here!
Find below a letter to you, our beloved Casa community, by our president and publisher Philip Silvestri.
Dear reader,
It is with sheer delight that we welcome you to enjoy this latest issue of Casa de Campo Living. Aside from delivering a gorgeous guide to the stunning Casa de Campo resort, it is also time to celebrate, as the world slowly continues its march back towards normality, allowing us to reunite with friends and family and make some incredible memories together.
So, let’s kick-back, relax and celebrate the holidays in Casa de Campo. Also worth celebrating are all the great events getting back onto our calendars, like the MIR Magical Splendor Gala taking place this January, or the recent TEDxLa Romana, an incredible first which we hope will become an annual tradition. Of course, there are the tournaments—golf, tennis, polo and more! Whether you are participating in them, or enjoying them as a spectator, it’s glorious to be out and about enjoying all there is to see and do.
Thank you for joining us and, even if only for a few days or weeks, being part of our incredible, vibrant and safe Casa de Campo community.
Warm holiday regards and best wishes for the New Year!
Philip Silvestri
