Café de la Leche gatherings are a great way to start the weekend early! This months event took place on Friday, September 17th at The Living Room by Good Vibe hosted by Amelia Pereyra who for the past couple of years has taken on the anniversary celebrations of this wonderful event. In a friendly, outdoor setting on The Living Room’s deck with the picturesque sunset view and Chavón river, the ladies spent the afternoon chatting and discussing fall plans, while intermittently snacking on some very delicious hors d’oeuvres by and sipping on refreshing drinks on the warm evening.
During the event we were able to see Sandra Alvarado proudly wearing the 2019 Casa de Campo Corre shirt – and by the way, these are excellent shirts! Their stellar composition and design make them a long-lasting exercise tee, and give you even further reason to get your ticket for the race! The Patronato Benéfico Oriental is excited for another fantastic run that draws so many into the resort to support the children of La Romana. See Casa de Campo Corre cool promotional video of the marathon here!
Thanks to Café de la Leche’s philanthropic events and the dedicated members of our community, Hogar del Niño’s crib room has the nutrition it needs for over two hundred babies! Café de la Leche hostesses have worked hard for the past eigteen years to deliver entertaining festivities that ensure the community’s continued participation and support. We applaud the contributions BY ALL for managing to supply the Hogar del Niño with milk and formula for over 800 bottles per day! THANK YOU for making the Crib Room a success and supporting La Romana’s growing youth. This Café de la Leche event at The Living Room by Good Vibe was a beutiful gathering, with guests showing their continued support for Hogar del Niño!
Congratulations on 18 years, Café de la Leche— it’s certainly a milestone worth celebrating! Happy Eighteen!! Below a few more images taken by Yafranny Melo, and stay tuned for the announcement of the next event for the Hogar del Niño!
