OK so it may not even be the end of September yet, but HO HO HO… here comes Christmas! Altos de Chavón have just announced that they are once again planning on opening the Casa de Campo holiday season with a grand inauguration ceremony on the Plaza Chavon.

Rocking around the Christmas Tree… that’s how we will celebrate the opening of the happy holiday season in Casa de Campo, with the grand ceremony, the “Opening of the Christmas Season” and the “Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony” – on Saturday December 13th at the Plaza Chavón in Altos de Chavón.
Of course while it is a little too early to announce the complete schedule of festive fun, at the “Opening of the Christmas Season” we can look forward to:
- Christmas Carols
- The lighting of the Christmas Tree and the Christmas lights
- Santa and his helpers
- Live music and dancing
- Fireworks!
Santa Claus is coming to town!
And as we have come to expect, the Casa de Campo high season will then continue with a program of endless festive fun, including Christmas Carols with the Madragalistas Choir on Christmas Eve, as well as a very merry Christmas day with Christmas Carols with the Armonia Choir, a special visit from Santa and a traditional Dominican Christmas Party with the Dekadas orchestra!
And much more… we spoke to Altos de Chavón yesterday and they have revealed that many more exciting holiday activities are being planned! The full schedule will be ready in about 2 weeks.
So… you better be home for Christmas!
