Gino’s Restaurant and Pizzeria in Altos de Chavón, which was closed over the summer, has just reopened and is once again serving outstanding Italian food!
Gino in Trastevere, located on a lofty terrace overlooking Altos de Chavón with a panoramic view of the Chavón River, is being run by Christine, an experienced sommelier and her husband Chef Claudio who brings the taste of Italy to Casa de Campo and Altos de Chavón. Serving authentic Italian cuisine, created from traditional Italian recipes handed down through 3 generations of the Angeloni family from Rome – Gino’s is not only a family friendly, relaxed place to enjoy dinner and/or a few drinks, but is also one of the most delicious places to eat in all of the Casa de Campo resort.

Thrilled to discover that Gino’s had reopened, the Casa de Campo Living team (Philip Silvestri and I, Rebecca Hughes) last night enjoyed a wonderful dinner of “Ensalada Greca” (greek salad) and Pasta Carbonara, both of which were delicious….so delicious in fact that we’re thinking of heading back tonight! Maybe we’ll see you there!
