The Bayahibe 10K is set to make its highly anticipated return on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024, following a successful 2023 event that marked its comeback after a three-year hiatus. Now in its ninth edition, this popular race invites runners of all levels to experience a scenic course through the charming town of Bayahibe, promising a day filled with sport and community spirit.

The 2023 edition of the race saw impressive participation, with 576 runners taking to the streets, supported by 50 sponsors who helped make the event a success. The upcoming race promises to build on this momentum, providing an even more thrilling experience for all involved. The course will take runners through a mix of roads, woods and beaches, highlighting the natural beauty of Bayahibe and Dominicus, as they pass by local hotels and craft shops.
Organized by the Romana Bayahibe Tourism Cluster and Hotel Association, the Bayahibe 10K is more than just a race — it’s a celebration of community spirit and resilience. The event’s return is a testament to the enduring appeal of this competition and its positive impact on the local community, uniting athletes, spectators and sponsors in support of a shared goal.
