Get ready, golfers! The 7th edition of the annual La Romana golf tournament is less than a month away from us. This time the tournament will be played once again at the Links golf course right here at Casa de Campo. Organized by the La Romana – Bayahibe Hotels Association with the La Romana – Bayahibe Tourism Cluster, this event will take place on Saturday, June 9th at 8:30 a.m. with the objective of promoting the La Romana – Bayahibe area as a premier golf destination in the Dominican Republic, and the entire Caribbean.
The format of the tournament is Couples Best Ball with a maximum handicap of 24 using 80% of each player’s handicap. Prizes will be awarded to Best Overall Gross Score, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place net for men as well as 1st and 2nd place in the ladies category. Last year the activity was a huge success, with participants from across the Dominican Republic coming together to play a friendly round of golf – and support an excellent cause.
