Once again the Fundación MIR, hosts the ‘Retiro Carismatico’, which in English literally means “Charismatic Retreat” or more accurately “Spiritual Retreat”. The aim of this 3-day spiritual gathering is to open the hearts of people from different regions of the Dominican Republic; to embrace religion and share biblical knowledge.
This year the theme of the retreat is “La confianza en el Señor”, meaning: Trust in the Lord.
As is the tradition, the retreat is open to everyone; children, teenagers and adults, and is of course completely free!
All activities are going to be held at the Cacique Conference Centre at the Casa de Campo Hotel within the Casa de Campo resort in La Romana – except for the mass for the healing of the sick (misa por los enfermos), which is going to be held at the Club San Martin de Porres in Las Piedras Santa Rosa de Lima Church (in front of the central park) on Saturday evening the 4th of October at 6:00pm.
FREE transport to and from each activity will depart daily from the “Obelisco” in La Romana.

A celebration of faith; the Fundación MIR Spiritual Retreat
From the 4th to the 6th of October 2013, the Fundación MIR charity celebrated their 23rd annual Spiritual Retreat with activities in both Casa de Campo and La Romana, uniting hundreds of members of the La Romana and Casa de Campo communities.
