Every year the Fundacion MIR, hosts the ‘Retiro Carismatico’, which in English literally means “Charismatic Retreat” or more accurately “Spiritual Retreat”. The aim of this 3-day spiritual gathering is to open the hearts of people from different regions of the Dominican Republic; to embrace religion and share biblical knowledge.
This year the theme of the retreat is “La fe que sana y salva”, the faith which heals and saves. As is the tradition, the retreat is open to everyone; children, teenagers and adults, and is of course completely free!
All activities are going to be held at the Cacique Conference Centre at the Casa de Campo Hotel within the Casa de Campo resort in La Romana – except for the mass for the healing of the sick (misa por los enfermos), which is going to be held at the Club San Martin de Porres in Las Piedras on Saturday evening the 5th of October at 6:30pm.
Free transport to and from each activity will depart daily from the “Obelisco” in La Romana.

From Friday the 28th to Sunday the 30th of September, 2012, the Fundación MIR celebrated its 22nd annual Spiritual Retreat, an event that has become traditionally hosted in Casa de Campo, reuniting hundreds of members of the La Romana and Casa de Campo communities.
