Fundacion MIR Casa de Campo golfOn Saturday January 17th, the La Romana Country Club golf course in Casa de Campo was full of splendor with the annual Fundación MIR Magical Splendor golf tournament.

Casa de Campo golfThis tournament is an integral part of the main event, the Magical Splendor Gala and Fashion Show, organized every year by Alfy and Raysa Fanjul at Casa Grande, Casa de Campo.

The golf tournament, with the participation of more golfers than ever before teed off around the La Romana Country Club golf course at 1pm on the Saturday afternoon and despite a brief downpour keeping the temperature cool and breezy it was the perfect day for a friendly (ish) round of golf. Played in a “scramble” format, the golfers worked together in teams of 4 to get the lowest score.

As is customary at Casa de Campo golf tournaments, the golfers were treated to a variety of refreshments around the 18 holes, including Ron Atlántico and Chivas whiskey.
