One of Casa de Campo’s most famous artists, Fernando Varela, is celebrating the opening of a new art exhibit “Forma y Vacio” in Santo Domingo!
The opening cocktail for Fernando Varela’s newest artistc representation will take place tomorrow, Thursday October 9th, at the Galeria ARS Contemporaneo (a contemporary art gallery), located in the Piantini area of Santo Domingo. And YOU are cordially invited.
Fernando Varela, who is also one of the Dominican Republic’s most successful artists (in addition to being a much loved member of the Casa de Campo community that is), has been working on the series “Forma y Vacio” for a number of years now, a project which has proven popular in Casa de Campo, across the Dominican Republic and even with international collectors.
On this occasion you will have the opportunity to admire his most recent works; drawings, paintings and sculptures of the series “Forma y Vacio”.
Here in Casa de Campo we were wowed by “Forma y Vacio” back in February when Fernando presented new works at his art space “Espacio #7” in the Marina Casa de Campo. Click here for photos and the full story.
So if you’re in Santo Domingo we hope to see you at the opening tomorrow evening, but if not you can enjoy the works of Fernando Varela at “Espacio #7” in the Marina Casa de Campo.
