The Dueños 2011 event started bright and very early on Saturday the 5th of November at 7am with a relaxing and yet challenging yoga class held on Casa de Campo’s beautiful Minitas beach!
Following torrential rain all day on Friday the 4th of November, everyone in Casa de Campo woke up anxious that more rain would force the cancelation of the Dueños sporting events for the 2nd year in a row – but when Casa de Campo’s early birds got up for the first Dueños sporting event of the day (yoga), we were thrilled to find it had finally stopped raining!
This year the class was led by Kyra Montague and took place in “La Palapa”, on Minitas Beach, with a stunning view of the ocean and the soothing sound of waves in the background. For the 14 Casa de Campo villa owners who attended it was a very early start to the Dueños day, but was the ideal opportunity to prepare for a busy and sport filled day ahead!
The rest of the Dueños day was filled with tennis, golf and shooting tournaments, horseback riding, tennis clinics and at the end of the day the fabulous Dueños dinner-dance – our photos of all these activities will be published soon!
